Hello all and welcome to the new year those of you who passed into it last night and those of you who passed into it the night before. I have no great stories or revelations to share with you all from the night. It was rather disappointing after the last couple of years. Mostly because my but head new years even companion Jim, decided to accept his girlfriend's invitation to go to Florida this year instead of hanging out with me. Oh well, anyway it's done and it's over with and it wasn't bad.
So here is the summery of books for the previous year. It's time to clean off the slate and start again with something new. But this is the place to start as I have other things to do today that require not being around the computer. Anyway, I think this is all of them. I may have missed some of the audio stuff I got rather lax about actually updating this list over the last few months. So I made up what I could of it.
And just in case it doesn't make sense, The List Key:
1. YA - Young Adult
2. Slash - Anything that includes some form of same sex relationship. Not necessarily the right description but it's the one I got with to be on the safe side.
3. Audio - Audio fiction is anything that is audio but not a pod cast novel.
4. PCN - Anything that is a pod cast novel (any of the ones that I actually finished, I have tried a number that I have not been able to get through at all. Maybe I should start a discard list. ahaha. Random note done.)

Art Platforms?
So, what platforms do you use other than DA? Which ones work better for you, or haven't work for you? I honestly haven't been getting on here a whole lot, and truthfully it's starting to feel like a waste of my time.
Don't get me wrong, there are lots of lovely artists on here, who I follow and whose work I enjoy seeing. However, it just seems like it takes a lot more time and effort to really get noticed on this platform. I would love to talk to people more and be active in groups, but honestly, I have a real life job that takes up a lot of my time.
That being said, I don't think I will abandon DA completely, as I mentioned there are artis
Devious Journal Entry
The past two weeks have been frustrating and exhausting, as life can be. Long story short, my day job is currently hectic, due to software and procedural changes. In the midst of all of this, I decided that it was time to stop thinking about trying to find a site like Redbubble, Society6, or such that worked for me. Or if they didn't figure out printing myself. As some of you may guess, this opens up a whole can of annoying things like file format, dpi, size, scanning vs photographing, cleaning things up, transferring files from device to device, and more.
For example, the attached image highlights the difference scanning vs photographing ca
Bad Art, 2019
Let's be honest about art for a bit, no one starts out making perfect art! Art and perception are a skill, that can be honed and formed over time, through practice. Yes, some people may start out with more innate abilities. One of the things that I find frustrating in this digital world is the plethora of, feeds, accounts and sites where people only show their 'good' work.
I know why they do, but I have a fundamental disagreement with it. One we all make bad art from time to time, someone else's 'bad' art might look really good to you, but let's face it we all make BAD art.
It is my belief is that sharing some of the bad art is good for you

Ah, another new years' eve. Wow, you keep track of all the books you read? That's cool. Quite a collection you have there. I recognize a few authors, but not all.
